The 2026 edition of The Wisconsin Digital Government Summit will take place on December 3. It is a space where state and local government officials meet to talk about the impact of technology on public services and government.
The event will begin at 8:00am – 4:30pm at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. Attendees will explore ideas, opportunities, and products related to e-government, govtech, digital public services, smart governance, and data protection.
The Wisconsin Digital Government Summit 2026 is organized by Government Technology, a division of the private media and events company e.Republic. This is the 26th edition of the summit, which has a longstanding partnership with the State of Wisconsin. This year, the State of Wisconsin’s Chief Information Officer, Trina Zanow, is scheduled to deliver the opening remarks.
One of the key speakers to note is Christopher Mende, someone who leads a team of technologists in applying Google’s advanced AI capabilities to help government and educational institutions fulfill their missions and better serve constituents. He has direct experience with AI policy and ethics as he contributes to the adversarial testing of new AI products to identify and mitigate potential biases.
It is a free event. Sign up here.
